ABOUT

WHAT IS MI DOG?

MI DOG is home to some of the world's greatest athletes; long-distance sled dogs

Visit long-distance musher Laura Neese and her team of sled dogs at MI DOG summer sled dog center located north of Newberry, Michigan and just 10 miles south of Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Laura has been blessed to share tens of thousands of miles and many adventures with her canine companions over the past nine years. They have summited and descended mountains, traveled in 60 below zero temperatures, run across the frozen Bering Sea, crossed the frozen 31 mile long Lake Laberge, and traveled all over North America together. It has been and continues to be an incredible ride and she and the dogs are excited to share their lifestyle and stories with you at MI DOG!

Whether you are already a sled dog fan or are hearing about them for the first time, this is an experience that you do not want to miss!

We are now accepting bookings for the summer! Opening day is May 24th, 2024!

Thanks for keeping up to date!

How long can I stay at MI Dog?

The time slots for each tour are an hour and a half long. Be ready for lots of puppy cuddles and dog kisses!

What else is there to do nearby?
